On the 6th of August, 2025, my day in Lisbon was a pilgrimage through shades of blue. Fresh from the halls of the Museu Nacional do Azulejo (National Tile Museum), I found myself in the cosiness of a local artist's home, learning the patient art of tile painting. Later, I walked to a cafe perched on a nearby hill to send Solmade out into the world.

I took a deep breath. The hilltop air was crisp, a gentle contrast to the August sun warming my forgotten sandwich and cider. In those final, suspended moments before my first pieces were shared, everything felt still. Half a world away, Singapore was counting down to midnight... and that was my cue to hit post. It felt strangely cathartic, how a single, swift tap of a button could finally release something I had held in my mind and heart for the past two months. I exhale.
