I love polymer clay and I share art that hopefully lingers as a moment of connection with you.

Born and raised in Singapore, I take inspiration from all things that glimmer under the eternal summer skies here. Solmade means made to capture sunshine, soul and lightness.

I hope in the magic of finding your Soulmate piece, you too receive inspiration to reconnect with hobbies that bring you joy. This is my reason for creating @trialbyfire.studio on Instagram. I invite you to come witness the alchemy: I believe anyone can dabble in new hobbies and absolutely have fun while doing so ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜

The majority of my work is self-initiated. It is inspired by natural elements and wavy lines. I find the most interesting source of inspiration in chinese porcelain, portugese azulejo tiles and organic botanicals.

I am growing a waitlist for in-person polymer clay workshops. For groups up to 4 people, I host at my centrally located studio. For larger groups, please contact me and we can discuss options for scheduling you in (more details on workshops here).
